The project "Engendering Solidarity: a Transnational Youth Dialogue (ESTYD)" aims to enhance the capacity of the youth sector at the local level, targeting directly young people, informal groups, and youth organizations implementing local solidarity projects (ESC30) and youth participation activities (KA154) across Europe. The main goal of this project is to connect young people who have taken on an ambitious challenge by developing and implementing project proposals at the local level, providing them with the opportunity to expand their experience and create lasting outcomes that will benefit new groups of young people across Europe. ESTYD is a KA3 project funded by the European Commission's Executive Agency (EACEA) under the Erasmus+ program, coordinated by Europiamo ETS (a national youth organization in Italy).

In the three ESTYD mobilities so far - Coach the Coach - Italy, Project Management in Solidarity projects - Romania, Communication in Youth projects - Poland, participants, youth workers from partner organisations together with experienced trainers and facilitators have co-created spaces for growth and sharing of useful information in the implementation of solidarity and youth participation projects.
They were experiences of much awareness, intercultural exploration and learning, inspiration and joy.
As part of the ESTYD project, a guide has been developed describing how young people can get involved, the types of projects (similarities/differences), what is involved in developing a project and 'tips and tricks' to help you in your initiatives.

ESTYD has been an exciting and fulfilling journey aimed at empowering young people. The values of the project are "EMPOWER", "CONNECT", "ENGAGE", and at the same time are in line with the values of our organization. Through our efforts and the enthusiastic contribution of a remarkable group of young people such as Ana, Iulia, Cristina, Adi, Wael, Ariana, Radu, Ioana, Florin, Bogdan, David and others, as well as our partners or collaborators such as NevoParudimos Association, Team for Youth Association, Liceul Teoretic Carei, Colegiul National "George Coșbuc" Năsăud, Cofeels, Together for YOUth Generation we have laid the foundation for communities dedicated to positive transformation contributing to safer, more resilient and creative communities.
We were able to better understand the needs of young people involved in solidarity projects. We created spaces for growth and knowledge sharing, where young people had the opportunity to share their own experiences, opinions or ideas, exploring and learning together.
