In Carei, together with youth workers from seven partner countries – Turkey 🇹🇷, Romania 🇷🇴, Italy 🇮🇹, Germany 🇩🇪, Serbia 🇷🇸, Bulgaria 🇧🇬 and Portugal 🇵🇹 – we are exploring how we can boost resilience and well-being through art, self-awareness and non-formal education.
We enjoy every moment we spend together – from creative workshops and practical exercises to moments of reflection and cultural evenings where we share stories, ideas, best practices and dreams. 🎭🎶👐

One of the concrete outcomes of the CRAFTING REALITY project is a digital booklet aimed at youth workers, educators and anyone interested in incorporating creative methods and principles of non-formal education based on an understanding of trauma into their work with young people.
The brochure brings together six art-inspired working tools, co-created by participants in the international mobility programme in Carei, and six principles of trauma-informed education.
The tools draw on methods such as painting, drawing, art journaling, book art and clay modelling, and are designed to support processes such as self-awareness, creative expression, the development of inner resources and the building of resilience.
Through this outcome, the experience and methods developed during the mobility programme are transformed into a practical resource that youth workers can continue to use in their own work. The tools are designed so that they can be adapted to different age groups and educational contexts.
